I was detecting a lot this evening, not having much luck, & freezing my fingers off.
A guy walked up to me, and asked me about detecting.
After about 10 minutes of talking I remembered him, and reintroduce myself and brief pause,"OH YEAH!"
How you been? this and that,
I asked, so you live near by ? could I detect your yard....
Sure.
I took a break and headed down the street.
( I didn't even shut down the CTX .)
Charlie must not like riding shotgun, cause in my head phones
I could hear him grumbling.
The old lap board siding house from about the 1930s
gave up some clad and a few goodies,
hearing many mid tones and high tones.
I was digging plugs two at a time racing the
sunset & colder temperatures.
The odd ball finds were a zippo lighter, a Porsche, and a fork.
.95 cents in clad, 2 wheats 1912, 1916
(#11,#12)
And a 1914 Barber dime (silver #2)
Being lucky to see him on his evening walk, where my first stop wasn't working out....it was good to be in the wrong place at the right time.
