I just want to detect...

Hey, that's great!! It's just crazy that their technicians weren't able to find anything wrong with your current control box. You would think that would be an easy thing for them to figure out. Makes you wonder who actually looked at your machine there...:(

Yeah... when I sent it in, then they called saying it's on the way back to me, and found nothing wrong with it... I knew I was going to be sending it back in again a few weeks later... Thankfully I'm getting a new unit, instead of them trying to repair this one again...

Hopefully the new unit is tested well before they send it to me, I'll be awfully frustrated if this happens again...

Wow, I just talked to Garrett, that was a lot less painful than I expected it to be.

Told them the problem, and that I had tried with 3 coils, 2 headphones, 3 battery packs, and the problem is definitely the control box, and said hopefully they can send me a new control box. She instantly agreed and said she will have UPS come by my house tomorrow to pick up the control box, then when she gets the tracking number, she will ship out a new control box right away, and hopefully it will arrive by monday.

Awesome!

Even though I'm frustrated that I haven't been able to detect for 2 months, I can't be mad at Garrett for it, that is some amazing Customer Service.

I was just going to say, anytime I have had a problem with a Garrett machine, a new one was shipped instantly if it was under warranty. However, Sue that I use to deal with retired., but I wouldn't have though that customer service retired with her. Garrett has always been one of the best for me. Glad the new one is on it's way.
