I couldnt beleive it. Fisher! No!

I had a bounty hunter and upgraded to a Fisher F4. I can tell you that in my own yard after depleting it with the bounty hunter I found around 30-40 more coins and relics. Most were about 6 inches deep and those coins included barber dimes, indian heads, and a half cent about 8 inches deep. Fisher has got it right this time and i couldn't be happier!

Maybe the dealer needs to move some Garrett stock...

I was at the local dealer today. I went there to get the Fisher F2. I picked it up and eyeballed it. I was shocked ......ITS A BOUNTY HUNTER! I couldnt beleive it. I talked with the shop owner who told me it was made at the same place by the same employees. I Bought The Ace 250. Anyone else see thes upclose. If you own one what do you thing about it?

The dealer told you the truth as far as he went but he certainly didn't tell you the whole truth. You should have tried them both out and seen for yourself. First Texas owns Bounty Hunter, Technetics and Fisher. Some of the Fisher detectors use the same housing and coils as Bounty Hunter to save on costs. The internal works are not the same. You still got a good detector in the Ace 250 but if you had tried them both you might have made a different choice. I've owned 2 First Texas products a T2 and a Fisher F70 both very good detectors with impressive depth and target separation. First Texas has some of the top people in the industry now designing their detectors. Good luck with your new Ace 250. When Garrett came out with that model, they set the bar for the rest of the industry for inexpensive detectors with lots of features. It's still a heck of a buy for the money.
