Whites gun-type case takes my V3i in onepiece (with any coil still fitted) except for the 12X15 SEF.
How Do You Transport Your Detector????

Usually.....
It rides behind the seat of the F-250 with the coil turned upright. Sometimes it sits in the back seat of the Neon. Or, if I'm going somewhere on the motor bike it goes into a duffle bag wrapped in clothes. Thought about a fancy carry case, but would rather have the $$.

Made my Own
I found two sleeping bags at a resale store for $2 each. Did a little remodeling with Velcro and now I have padded bags that can take some of the beating in my truck or vehicle. Probably have about 3 hours labor on a rainy day and have modified it several times with necessary storage pockets. Velcro is an MDers best friend!!

I bought the padded bag when I bought my metal detector. I don't think I have ever used it. I put mine in the back of whatever I am driiving and go.
