How can I tell the difference in which is a county park vs a city park. You can search in the City parks but not the county parks. There are areas I am not sure which is which and I don't want to upset the POPO
The Houston City Parks should all be on their website. They even tell you the ages of the parks. I think I counted 29 parks by 1929. I'm fairly sure they had a map online showing where they are located. HH, George (MN)
Yep. More than likely there's a wiki on it too. The wiki for Indy has them separated by county, city, neighborhood parks, nature preserves and has years and GPS coordinates with direct links to maps. Pretty handy!
I found an excel spreadsheet someone had made. It had the parks and dates parks were built. I was able to convert it and enter it in Google Earth. So now when researching I can see all the parks that are Houston and what dates they were made.
