Help Naming YouTube Channel

Hows about .... 'Idiot Mitten'? Everybody 60+ grown up North knows what an Idiot Mitten is...anybody that dont know should....

'Idiot Mitten' is simple yet effective, and thats what we are...Simple and effective....Without Idiot Mittens, a guy could lose a hand otherwise...and what the hell is the good in that? In the Northern States especially....

You gotta at least have two good hands to find your @ss for some reason?....I've heard it said more than once in my lifetime..."This guy cant find his @ss with both hands!"

Actually, in my case, it was "You" instead of "This guy" ...and yeah, my G'maw made me a pair of Idiot Mittens back in '68...She doubled stitched the palms and went heavy up on the tie off construction...She knew I would be needing them...

Now THAT is funny! Problem is... if I put idiot in the name my wife will never let me live it down 🤣
 
Though he will need something catchy. He can avoid 'metal detector' or 'finds' or 'dig(ging)' but he will reach the wrong audience if he uses 'knitting' or 'playing chess'. :laughing::laughing::laughing:
It has to have at least some relevance, which will quickly become the usual terms. And those will eventually list him. Higher if his views and audience counts rise.

Off course it's always good to think about a good name. :thumbsup: That was not what i was pointing at.
I only tried to confort you that you have room for a slight mistake which can be adjusted later.:coolinoff:
 
I have been working with the Internet since 1996 with many ventures and different web sites.

You need a key word(s) in your youtube channel name. and that is "Metal Detecting".

Brad's is perfect in Green Mountain metal detecting.

people search the internet by keywords not cute names that have not relevant meaning.

So you must include metal detecting in your name if you want people to find you that will actually view your videos and subscribe and return.

Next you must have good content.

next you must cross promote.

have a facebook page about your videos that point to your videos on youtube at the bare minimuim.

also have other social media pages about your hobby that point to your youtube page.

instagram, reedit, etc. here is a list.

1993 overhere. Had own websites even before the ww know companies had them. When everyone still thought "internet is something w/ xxx?" Net Nav 2.
I'm one of the Internet Frontier Explorers, when it still was the wild wild internet. :D

What I wouldn’t give to be young enough to be labeled a Millennial. Lol. I’ll be 48 in about two weeks 😂
 
Had the idea of ‘Snipe Hunt Metal Detecting’ because we’re all searching for things we may never find but having a ball doing it.
