The first item is a TV antenna, and the second one looks suspiciously like a pelican.

I'm pretty sure the second piece is part of a tool used to work on Model A's. Gramps had one in his shop that looked a lot like that.
 
Well, it was more fun with no pictures. :D

That's a really interesting coin. Can you make out any of the letters on it?

The first thing I thought of when I saw the face was Medusa but the cross on the other side throws that off.
 
I think I found it. It may be a John Lackland halfpenny coin though it's not a 100% match from what I have found so far:

Thanks very much Doug for the information about moneyer and mint..Did you look at the other item?? any ideas on period etc??
