Translation is still a little accurate.

VERY NICE FINDS....... And yes, Europeans sure are able to find some truly OLD coins and relics.

Great pix. Looks like fun! Thanx for posting. Yes Europeans have so much more history, even to the point that random row-crop furroughed fields, just based on 1000 yrs of continual cultivations, will have random coins in them. So you can imagine if you research out where old markets or cross-roads used to be, doh! :)

And hey, while we're all admiring the finds and putting out the "atteboys", I haven't seen a single post where anyone wonders how this guy is detecting in Russia. I mean .... wait .... wasn't there a post where .... supposedly it's no longer allowed in Russia ? Obviously it must not be an issue, if you're detecting farmers fields with permission (since that's outside the scope of laws of public land), or if you/he are using common sense to avoid obvious historic monuments (same as the USA or anywhere).

That's a good point, Tom. I did a quick search and found this commentary on the new law from a fellow detectorist. Vladimir, with the translations in your posts, we are understanding you much better now. Keep posting pictures of your finds. They are great! Just don't get caught. Those historic finds need to be dug up and shown.

His photos translate well in any language. Awesome finds I wish I could search for someday. It won't be long until Варвар shows us some of the gold he's found so far. ;)

This isn't the first time, or the first country, for this phenomenom to happen on. I've seen it for other European countries as well, on other forum's posts. Someone will come on asking about a certain country (like if they're about to vacation there, or whatever). Others will come on with dire warnings about severe laws, etc.... But then oddly, you find out later there's hobbyists in those countries. And dealers even. And I don't think it's so much an issue of "not getting caught", I think it's an over-reaction to something someone reads about cultural heritage, etc... Or laws meant for public lands, yet don't apply to private farmer's lands with permission.

Добро пожаловать на форумах .... из Южной Грузии, США. Многие великие находки ... с нетерпением жду находок с Родины!

Welcome to the forums .... from South Georgia, USA. Many great finds ... looking forward to the finds from the Rodina!

Вот контактный я нашел в школьном в Americus Джорджия .... где я присутствовал 3-го класса давным-давно. Восстановленные в начале 2012 года.

Here is a pin I found in a schoolyard in Americus GA .... where I attended 3rd grade a long time ago. Recovered in early 2012.

Guys, sorry for the small Russian chitchat.

Vladimir is lucky to live in one of the most signficant historical areas of Russia - dated back as far as XI-XII centuries. Actualy his native city was founded in 1220. How about that? :D
272 years before Columbus first steps on American soil.

Thanks for sharing, Vladimir.

As for the harsh new anti-metaldetecing laws - we have a very old saying in Mother-Russia:
"The severity of Russian law was always compensated with its loose observance by Russian people." :D
