Got a scare tonite.......still scared !!

IMO CBD oil could be what is needed, helps many dozens of medical conditions with no side effects. Sellers say legal in all 50 states but Wikipedia says illegal in SD.

A low dose of drops is $39.95 for what might be a 30 day supply, "Amazon's Choice".''
Most sellers on Amazon are offering hempseed oil when hemp leaf extract is wanted.

Higher doses could be hundreds a month, but many say it is worth it. A great many on eBay are selling it, BluebirdBotanicals.com and purehempbotanicals.com are a couple of the more reputable sellers, also cw.com Stanley Bros. Charlotte's Web. Some sellers offer up to 3,000 mg per 1 oz bottle. Few sellers offer refund for those not helped.

A great many of the sellers are on eBay. Ask questions before committing to buy.

One seller is offering low 10mg dose in chocolate mints, about $1 each, + shipping.

If a person knows how to inhale, they can vaporize for better effect (heat helps).

When my Mother reached the point that she was not capable of living alone my sister took her to her home. Unfortunately Mother deteriorated rapidly and could not be left alone while we all worked.

So Mother was placed in a Nursing Home were she was mistreated by the staff.

Fortunately my Sister who lives in Ca was the Administrator of a Nursing Home and she took Mom to live there. You can bet that my Mother got the best of care. My Sister is a bit hard nosed with employees and they must take proper care of their Patients. Yet the majority of her employees loved her.

One of the employees raised her voice with my Mother and Sis was standing in the Hall observing. She calmly informed the employee that You do not raise your voice with our Patients and You Never raise your voice with the Administrators Mother. You can pick up your things on your way out the door and your final paycheck will be available in 72 hours as required by law.

I flew out to Ca to see Mom and she just sat there and stared at me. There was no recognition and no communications. That hurt far more than her actual passing a few years later. Her mind had died years before her body.

It is understandable that not everyone has a situation that allows for caring for someone at home, like your example where everyone worked and no one would be at home during the day to watch her.

It was so great that you had a sister who was in charge of a nursing home to insure proper care was given.

There are some good nursing homes, but sadly there some to be avoided so if a nursing home has to be used we urge people to do extensive research and thoroughly check a nursing home to make sure it's not one of the bad ones.

My wife's mom was originally in a nursing home back in Maryland but about 8 years ago when my wife took a trip there and visited her she saw there was gross neglect, they would let her mom sit in her room all day unattended, her weight was down to under 100 lbs, she had a severe open back sore, was dehydrated, ect. My wife then started the process to get guardianship and bring her to South Carolina asap to live with us here.

Having not had experience with nursing homes previously we learned the hard way, hopefully this will encourage people to research first if they have to put a loved one in a nursing home. NOTE: Research needs to be more than just visiting a place as some places have been known to make sure things look good when they know you are coming to check.
