Buckles you say? I can do that...

Found this beauty at a site that dates to 1895 (see my Ghost Town thread here http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=175072 ). It's been ID'ed on the Facebook ID ME group as being circa 1920's ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/IDME1/1056330114401189/?notif_t=like ) and it was 4 inches deep so who knows? I've also pulled other items from this same spot that ARE from the 1920's so maybe...

My entry...and thanks for the contest and opportunity!
Wish I could throw in my Peace dollar, but that was a Sept. find.
I found this thing in October.

A Masonic shekel coin sometimes preferred to as a penny.
Handed out by lodges all over the country but modern versions are mostly made out of other metals.
The sterling versions appeared to be more popular for use from the late 1800's to the 1930's.

8.2 grams of sterling, pretty rare and not your usual find.

Found in Birmingham Ala. in some very rare good black dirt 7" deep with the F70 and standard elliptical coil.

Copper Culture Awl

This little beauty was about 4" deep in a "new to me" beanfield.
I picture a young Indian girl (Pocahontas) poking holes in a deerskin to make a jacket for her new husband over 2000 years ago.
Love this hobby!

Fur trade axe

Ok I'll chime in with my first ever furtrade axe.
Found it in an area where natives lived and traded with the French
300 years ago.

Well this picture of a lot of rocks is my best find!

This is Alaskan amber in the rough (still not cleaned). The bottom pictures are what amber looks like when I do some lapidary work to them.

The min price of the rough is probably upwards of $300 or more I'd have to clean each piece to determine the full value.. but there are 2 pieces that should have a value of at least $100 each if they have grassy inclusions.

For those that don't know there is copal and amber... copal is flooding the market making amber harder to find and more valuable... There are few places in the world to find amber.

I found this Tiffany & Co bracelet last weekend. Didn't know it was Tiffany until I got home. Retails for a cool $150...

That is pretty darn cool, I will give you bonus points if you told me that you tested it to make sure it still works! Lol im kidding please do not do that, but still pretty darn cool

Well...someone already posted a Tiffany & Co picture...but I'll post mine anyway...lol. What makes this such a cool fine ( imo ) is that my F2 actually picked up this VERY little chain! It was a jumpy signal, all over the place but I dug it anyway! Found the dime about 10 feet away ;)
