just made my first finds this weekend. $1.43 in change nothing old but its a start. some varius shot gun brass but no plastic on them so i dont now how old they are, i dont know how long ago they used something other than a plastic caseing for them. on another note if iron is next to something else like copper or silver or gold will the machine only pickup the the iron and block out the others or will i get partial hits on the discritator of the others, or if one was above or below what would the effect be from any of your experience?
thanks
Very Good Video for Those New to The Hobby of Metal Detecting. It's focus is on Minelab but the information would be true for any detector brand. More information can be found @ http://www.rivercitytreasureclub.com/ This site is totally dedicated to those 'New' to the hobby of metal detecting. It's an 'On-Line' only club and membership is free.
