Garrett Newbie

Hi i'm from Salford UK.
I'm new to metal detecting i picked it up after having a couple of strokes and NFD which makes me stutter when stressed , i love getting out but get afraid of being alone if something happens to me .I used to be a very out going person but now i'm afraid of everything, so my son or daughter comes with me. I use the Garrett AT PRO bundle it came with the Garrett pin pointer and MS-2 headphone set which my wife bought me for my birthday.. I have found a few things money buttons locks .. With my stroke its made me a little deaf as well and my MS-2 headset wires have come loose on the volume side has anyone had the same problem and have a picture or diagram, they are the pin type .Thank You.

I'm sorry that you've been through such a difficult time with your health, but thankful that it has at least opened the door for you to pursue the hobby alongside those you love. Metal detecting is a fun family venture... speaking from experience, because my two brothers & I always enjoy metal detecting together (and we're often accompanied by our dad, mom, or sister as well). I, too, use a Garrett detector, so I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Please keep us posted about your finds & experiences as you learn your new hobby!

Although I'm not sure off the top of my head, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the members can help you with that. You might want to try reposting this question in one of our Detectors and Gear subforums, such as All About Detectors or Metal Detector Accessories... perhaps it would get more more notice then.
