Nope, not me at the beach. I too have run into poor sportsmanship, like it was ONLY his public playground.
Wish I could get out tomorrow with ya, but I will take a raincheck.(no pun intended)

I just got back from Bunche beach, BOY IT WAS RAIDED! All the old geezers raided it early in the morning some guy said, I found a couple pennys!!! I went to fort myers beach with no luck either! Geez! Not a lot of loot

Well, you just never know.

Vlad and I was in Ft Myers in 2005 visiting some friends. Didn't detect the beach there, but we drove south toward Bonita Springs Beach. Didn't find much, just clad, it was too hot to detect!

THAT'S why I got into water hunting.... plenty of night time and winter time days to do the dry sand and dirt.

Am in fort myers, have done the beach a few times, mostly the usual pull tabs and bottle tops and the odd clad, nothing spectacular...theres a rental place for md's but i dont see major hunters here, seen one with an excal 2 but that was it pretty much.
