I'd like to say. Thanks to all of you that are helping a forum out that "ALL" can benefit from. I know that Vlad, Carol and Admin's has been doing this for a longtime and you don't have to pay to be a member to participate on anything at all on the forum, they survive by donations to keep this forum running. As you know most of you, I make the BOMB sheath and I started right here selling and meeting friends that share the same interest. I always try to give back to the one's that make me grow in the hobby and most of all,,, the friends I meet on the way.

Anyone who donates to the site will have a special badge under their username just as you do. If someone knows where to look, it is easy to see who donates to the site.

As to the legality issue... here is an example of how silly the law can be applied to well meaning folks.

When I was a kid, we had a school carnival with a "cake walk". Well the state made them stop doing it because it was "taking a chance" and they considered that to be gambling. For those that don't know what that is, a cake walk is a large circle marked off in segments with numbers. Everyone stands on a number and they play music for a random time as people walk around the circle. When the music stops, they draw a number and if you are standing on that number, you win a cake or other baked item that was donated by a school parent.

Good luck with the donation drive.

Thank You I didn't know what that symbol meant I thought it was for hitting a number of posts or something I guess you do learn something new everyday.
 
I want to make a donation also but I'll have to message Vlad for an address. I want one of those medals under my name also. Besides, just think what all this info would cost a person:lol: And where else can I post my useless detecting information:laughing:
 
I gotta admit, 20.00 is cheap for all the good info on here.
and a shot at a prize makes it that much more interesting.
 
Even though no donation is required to enter, I want to thank all of you who have donated to the forum! I agree, this place gives us all valuable info and is just a great place to hang out! Vlad, Carol, and the admins do a great job with it!!
