Where can you get a Dino's cover for the Legend, that looks good with the buttons highlighted
Ebay

I did the same white paint trick almost as soon as I received my Legend. I got an “ultra fine” tipped white paint pen from the Mart with Walls for a couple of bucks. Had the choice between oil or acrylic based paint - I chose acrylic only because they are a little more flexible when dry, and I figured that would be better with the rubberized buttons. I only have about 35 hours on mine, but it seems to be holding up well. Pinpoint button is showing a touch of wear, but I use pinpoint on almost every target with my dirt encrusted gloves. I figure the paint pen will last quite awhile for any touch ups I might need to do.

I like your dust cover that you put on your Legend Where did you get it from

Also have a question with the way that dust cover you have looks does it cover up part of the display when you are trying to make settings changes it almost looks like it would cover up the menus when you attempt to make a settings change, or is the menu uncovered when you are in the menu's ???

it also appears it has a sun visor for your Legend is this also the case

No, it doesn’t cover any of the display - might just look that way from the angle that the picture was taken (see below). I bought it from a guy who 3D prints a few Legend accessories on Etsy (seller name is Outdoor3dPrints). Kind of pricey compared to other covers out there ($19 plus shipping from California), but this is the kind I like, and it seems to be well made using quality filament. It’s a rubberized plastic bumper - I want the cover more for bump protection that anything else, in case the machine falls over or something knocks against it while driving around. Sunshade is a nice bonus. It’s open on the back - I don’t use the fully enclosed covers anymore since I had an overheating problem with the display on my first Equinox using one. Not that the Legend would necessarily have the same problem, but why tempt fate!

The thing I don't like about hood shades is you still need to get the right angel before they help, and it always seems the sun is in the right place to get under the hood.

Since my Legend is due to be delivered today, I read this thread with great interest. I do like the shield with the sun-shade btw. What is a recommended way to protect the control box on a Legend?
1. Use a cover with a plastic screen (like the Nokta cover with the red button covers)? I feel like the reviews have been mixed for these as the red covers, while nice, don't always line-up with the buttons on the control box.
2. Use a "bumper" like the one with the sun-shade? Which doesn't keep dirt and mud off the box.
3. Use the glass screen protectors? Better to use these along with 1 or 2?
As a matter of habit, I've always used screen protectors on all my portable electronics (saved me from disaster twice). But I'm perplexed how to best protect this investment, while still not hampering usability and convenience. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

When the weather forecast is uncertain and showers are in the forecast, I put on a large, transparent, plastic bag on the control pod and tie it down with a rubber band. Cheap, effective and can be reused several times.
