I'm not so jealous of his luck but his naturalness with a detector.
I've probably watched around 25 people detecting since I started and
with James, it seems the detector is a natural extension of his body,
there is such a fluidity to his movement, it's quick but the coil stays level
and close to the ground. He's totally in the zone the way a professional
athlete might be.

Most people look like me, swinging about with a metal rod with a plastic
thingy on the end of it, awkward, unnatural, rarely graceful. We should
be sitting it out on the sidelines.

Well how about that! First time out and pays for the machine, unreal find man! So, quick learning curve with the excal? Are you able to differentiate between the multiple sounds easilly?

Wow! What a find, how deep are you going in the water? I'm itching to get a detector and see what I can turn up. I saw a Excal II on Craigslist in Coral Springs, $999 new in the box, but it's still out of reach compared to the AT Pro cost.
