Well Saturday finally warmed up enough to go out and hunt so my dad and I decided to go try hunting his old elementary school bus stops. Upon reaching the first stop we saw that it had been developed over which seemed to be the case with most of them, the others were just on private property. So we headed to a small beach near there. We had only it hunted once prior, the most significant find being a dollar coin, to see if we could find some clad. When we got there my dad started hunting the dry sand and I worked my way down to the high tide mark. About 3 minutes in I get my first hit and to my shock its a 46 Rosie and my first hit of the year! Even more so that my second hit a 1917 wheat. I then start to carefully grid the area in hopes of pulling more.
In the end we leave with 4 silver dimes, 1946, 1964 D, 1939.
7 Wheats, 1935, 1942 with a possible die clip, 1917, 1953 D, 1950, 1930, 1944, toasted
And finally a dateless S mint buffalo.
