Awesome coin. It is nickel not silver. I once bought one of those from an antique store who told me it was silver only to get home and read in the red book it was nickel.

Really nice coin though, I'd love to dig one.

Wow, I have never seen a nickel trime, only the silver trime

Not a trime guys. They are silver 3 cent pieces.
This is a nickel 3 center. They came after the trime.
Trimes are smaller than this coin.
