Very nice coin......I think merc dimes must have been rare in my yard

But with going back to work next week and there being 110% cahace of rain everyday until tuesday it's gonna be a bit before i can get where i want to go.

Boop... May I ask how old your house is? My house was built in 1973 and I don't believe there was any other structure here before then, so I haven't been detectingmy own property because I figured that there wouldn't be any silver here. Is your house old?

JohnnyG, Our house was built in 73 too. And I have found quite a few coins in the yard. Also found some hotwheels cars. You just never know what could be there. If I were you, I would give it a try anyway.

Oddly enough, my house was also built in 1973! I thought about people getting in and out of their cars in front of the house by the curb over the years, searched there, and that's where I found the merc. Also just found a 1954 dime in the same area last night. I'm in a small town in a residential neighborhood that was built on farm land. I'll post pics of all my yard finds . . . it'll blow your mind! Get out there and dig!!!
