Farm field mystery pieces

Have recently been hunting what is now a nicely manicured sod farm. A local old timer told me his aunt and uncle once lived on the corner of the field many years ago but I don't know exactly where the house once stood. I'm trying to find it but it's a needle in a haystack.
I found two of the same type item. One says Lift This Side. Other one says Lift The Top. Looks to be some type of snap button. Not found in same spot.
About the size of a nickel.

Thems there is canvas snaps. Old school! Hole would snap onto an installed post.

Also found this small piece and can read part of it. I can make out America on part of it and can make out "In" on other part, I'm assuming it says Made In America but it's to toasted to say for sure.

Canvas top on an old automobile. I believe I have seen these on some old military gear as well.
