Reminded me of the grocery stores in the 50's and 60's.
Compare the prices to today and also notice that back then cashiers actually had to read the prices and punch it into the cash register. Also cash was likely the norm, don't think credit cards for grocery stores was even an option yet

If adjusted for inflation, some of those prices from 1971 are actually higher than they are today!

Yeah Gary. Now you can't buy nuttin' fer a Nickle. Give me back the 60s (at least for one day anyway).
For one day so you could fill your suitcase full of silver coins to bring back!
