Early Morning Hunt...

That would be cool to detect that lake on the Naval Base in Grotten huh? We used to swim there and I'm sure there are lots of things in there.

Nice finds! Congrats!

Wow!

16 Wheats, 6 Mercs, 2 Rosies, 1 quarter, 2 buffalo nickels, 1 indianhead penny and the sterling marked old silver ring... sorry for the blurry first picture the wife was bugging me when I was taking that shot

THAT is a fun hunt. Very observant. "Conga-rats" to you!

Congrats!!! Nice Hunt!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Could you explain what you're looking for when you hunt the ground down spots and wash outs?

Thanks and HH!!

Old stuff... if you look at my trash there isn't much modern trash... usually lots of silver with a smattering of gold now and then... ;)

great day on old silver Craig, guess your hitting those secret old honey hole's noone know's about ,nice job !

I took Bruce (Captain Silver) with me... I'm trying to convert him into being a beach hunter  He used his F75 and pulled a silver dime and a top piece of a sterling pill case which came in at just under 13 grams he also scored a silver nickel... I keep offering him a scoop but he is a dirt guy and bends over with his small digger and searches with a pinpointer :D

Lol

Poor Bruce :lol:,your gonna make me feel sorry for him :(,never salt water hunted with my F75,it's a good thing he didn't drop it in the water ,he would have been out a grand,i am gonna pick up a 720 from Chuck next month, that's 4 water scoop's,i wish i was up thier,i would love to go celar hunting with him, and find some old copper's,there might be a few here but don't know were, sound's like Bruce is one of those guy's that still uses a hand digger ,doesn't learn, but a shovel is 5 time's better,i land hunted one last week for 1 hr,no silver ,1.85 clad ,used the etrac with the sef 8x6 coil,i like it,i like both land, and water hunting Craig,as far as converting him over,i don't think so,he will still like both ,i would water hunt more than land if i lived closer to the beach ,one day ,my sister just bought a house 5 miles inland from the Indian river inlet DE,my mom is interested in one now, than i will probally follow suit, but will come out of retirement to purchase, for a few year's ,glad to see you got Bruce out for a spin, you will have to get PI Joe to film him ,happy hunting, the Captain Silver has alway's turned up silver, tellem great job,Earl

Bruce is 6 foot 4 with bad knees... now picture him bending over to dig without bending his knees... he must get a headrush everytime he stands up  he was hunting in the dry stuff I was moving around.

Great hunt Craig! You always seem to pull the oldies.... Patience and persistence seems to bring the goods out...

Yeah, sounds like a good spot if you want to commit suicide. You couldn't get near that place....even if you wanted to . They would shot first and ask questions later.

OUCH !!

No Gold ??

Only a bunch of cool old silver for the scrap pile ;)

My Protector and my idol , please explain ??

Sincerely, The Martyr

Conrats on what most would consider a great hunt :)

I'm after gold nothing wrong with that... but every hunt I go on I enjoy no matter what I find... I have hundreds of gold finds under my belt so hitting a goldless streak doesn't bother me...
