yeah man would have loved to say that I picked it up at 5 scoops down with my 8" coil but YES EYEBALL FIND!!!! brother.

First ever eye ball of any heavy stuff, have spent 100s of hours with a mask on underwater, scanning, scanning, scanning and more scanning looking for that gold chain link poking up out of the sand while hunting and nothing.

I had my small gold vision on, couldn't work out what I was seeing at first just didn't register, until I felt its weight
After an hour sitting in the car wondering what to do, thought the best thing to do was to do some digging to clear the head before tackling the drive home Nothing like digging lead to bring you back

Thanks a heap Forkandles, you and that great deal you gave me on the CZ-21 can take the credit for that ring brother. I was only going to hunt that beach as a test to see how well it did in the tuff stuff. As it turned out the CZ-21 worked very well in all that iron giving very good responses.

If I hadn't got that eye ball score of a lifetime, the results would have been a heap of lead and 5 crusty coins

Well that does it then, I give up. But seriously..what?!! That has to be the biggest chunk of ring I've ever seen posted...and platinum no less! Incredible, just incredible. My alarm is set for 5am and I'm getting out in the water! A huge congratulations is in order!

But yeah blew my mind, never I repeat NEVER would I have expected to see plat of any size just sitting half exposed like that Thank god for rocks, if it had been gold I think one of the fishermen would have eye balled it for sure. There were foot prints going right past it

Bro you deserve to have two separate posts. One in beach hunting and one in mind blowing! Remember my first 14k ring surface find. Hard wind blowing, coins on top of the dry sand, gold ring sitting there with sand swirling around the inside like those old motorcycle riders spinning around the walls in the globe of death or whatever they called it! Now I'm gonna dream about finding your ring laying on top of the ground. 14k just won't do! Is there a word for "holy sheets" in Japanese? Congratso on THAT fatso!
