What would the timezone for the sendingtime of the show be here in Norway?I just need to see how horrible it is...
Member OZARKS did it already with an endorsement from OBX Franz. I will be ignoring all of their posts from now on. Is there a way to block people that like the show from my computer other than quiting this forum?? Please tell me there is.
Block me too please, because I agree with Ozarks.
I was on the Stop National Geographic's Looting Facebook page. Some of their points are ridiculous in a post clearly hating on metal detecting. Some of these guys take their job way too serious...
Example... "If all the scraps of metal are dug up in the first two inches of soil, how will it ever be possible in the future to identify the greater significance of a site that might lie underneath? Even the pop can tabs and occasional coins are all important clues to past human activity and they are vital archaeological indicators that need to be left alone so that archaeologists can recreate a chronical order of the past in order to correctly interpret it. You erase history with each item you dig up and take. Its relevance to that place is lost forever. If you devote your life to knowledge and the understanding of past cultures and to preserving the very places they lived and died, you find it very difficult to stand by and watch others destroy what you have worked so hard for."
I hate to say it but I highly doubt that the 1 of 1,000,000,000 pop pull tabs at the picnic area at the state park is very historic. The more I read some of these archaeological posts the more I dislike their overall attitude and some show some real ignorance honestly.
