About as small as ive found with the multi freq is .3 grams. But its not weight but sensitivity .... dang chain could be a whopper but add a little depth and it looking at ONE link and its GOOOONE. Lot of work for the most part like you said digging everything, but some make it pay off a PI is used right. Takes a lot of those backs to buy a Mickey Ds happy meal.... unless its one of those surprise HONKER chains.... then its a real HAPPY meal.

My CZ21 with little coil could pick up this 25 gr. 14K. mens armchain just within 4 cm of the coil (in freshwater), but sounded like little tiny cracks nothing more
