does not show in "add/remove"; nor when I search the hard drive w/ 'nokta' from within 'Files'

any one have an idea on how to delete ??

sold my legend and want to remove software

Open "control panel"
Open "Programs and features"
Click on the program if it is there..
Sometimes programs download not as program files but simply as executable files. If it's on your desk top, right click the icon and select properties. It will tell you where the program executable file is located. Go there and delete it as well as the shortcut on your desktop. It's probably in your "Documents", "Downloads" or "Porn" folder. Whatever is your default download folder. :aok:

as mentioned, not in listed programs

when I right click desktop icon, does not indicate path to executable nor method to delete...
not in 'documents'
not in 'downloads'

thanks anyways

Sorry I forgot to mention that when you right click the Icon and select "Properties", at the top of that select "Details" and go down to where is says "Folder Path". That will tell you where the program is. If it says "Desk Top", just delete the Icon from the desk top and you're good to go. FYI, I have multiple updater programs for a lot of products and when you download and install from the manufacturer, the software is usually installed to the desk top.

This is what you should see.
Open "Control Panel"
Open "Programs and features"
See if you can find it in the list. If it's there, click it and select "Uninstall". If not just delete the desktop Icon and you're good to go. Your computer is in the default setting where it's not showing all the details.

The Nokta update procedure, does not create an entry in the "Apps and Features" list of Windows 10 or 11. I doubt it would for Windows 7 either.

Anyway, just delete the Desktop icon, and run a search using "Nokta" on "My computer" (Windows 7), or "This PC" on Windows 10 or 11.

I use a program called your uninstaller, it helps get rid of programs I did not know were ever installed.

yeah, I've done all that and I'm pretty good with regard to using Windows and even registry.

as you can see in my screenshot of the details tab, there is nothing listed with regard to path and that has nothing to do with my default settings...

there is no indication for nokta, or legend when I search all files and folders, and just deleting the desktop icon does not remove it from the computer.

I have yet to call them...

The desktop icon IS the program. It's not really a program but a DLL that uses the Dot Net framework to connect directly to Nokta. They have the updater software, not you. If you look at my screenshot, you will see it's only 1.12 KB in size. When I open it I can see the entire connection string. Just delete the icon and you are done.
