Coyote hole in cellar hole. How to swing safely?

Sounds like a Gary Larson cartoon.

For some reason this thread reminds me of the Gary Larson Cartoon where a large bear is standing in front of a small bear with two human skulls with hunters hats on and it is saying to the small bear "Ok, one more time and then it's off to bed with you. Hey Fred, think there are any bears in this ol cave?"

In my neck of the woods, a 12 gauge with buckshot is the preferred medicine for "yotes".

The softer approach of human hair, etc may also work. They generally avoid humans, but the last few years the eastern coyotes in my area have become more and more brazen - I had a female friend who lived in the boonies that heard scrabbling on her deck one night, and flipped the light on, to see coyotes going through her trash.

Scared the crap outta her, lol!

In PA you can shoot a coyote any day you'd like...Chances are they turn and run. If not that's there mistake. AND I'll have another fur on my wall.
