I had found a couple child's rings a few days ago, at a local beach. They looked old. The bottoms were open like the kind of toy rings you get out of a gumball machine. I decided to clean them and it turns out one is Sterling silver stamped 925 in side, and I'm thinking the other may be gold.
The gold looking ring has a crack in it and has seen better days, it was in the mud and was caked. It has no markings. The Beach was a recreation area for almost 70 years.
