Is Spruce Run detectable? I was under the impression State Parks are off limits

You just need to pick up a permit at the ranger office.
I got there one day back in July about 8 in the morning someone was there before me and left craters all over the beach.

I was the only one detecting so all the craters made me un easy so I left.


I have a feeling it's hit very hard in the summer.

Wow I forgot about this thread - I originally posted it over 3 years ago. I'm actually no longer in hunterdon county - I've since relocated out to Union County.

Most of my hunting these days is down the shore on long beach island.
