Found a full round tin that did not sound like coins when I shook it hard.
Back at camp I cleaned the lid up with a wire grill brush.
It reads "Blasting Caps Dangerous" so I re-buried it.
Found horse shoes, tac, suspender buckles all cira 1880's

How do you like your Casita? That is a Casita, right? I'm considering a "Oliver", right now I have a Camplite and looking to downsize.

You put it back in for someone else to find? huh...

The picture does not show finished hole, it was deep enough that my F70 and ATP could not hit on it.

Yes its a Casita and been great for 12 years now. Olivers are great trailers but you're talking more than Airstream money. Scamps are good, the Escape trailers out of BC Canada are great. Any molded fiberglass trailer will hold their value for decades.

Cool finds. A tin of blasting caps is a new one to me. I would have certainly kept it; Danger is my middle name! Well, OK, only if you misspell or sloppily write Daniel. Could happen. :D

Good idea, make sure it's deep enough that only those Minelab guys can hit them. Good way to keep them from cleaning out our sites  Seriously though, really cool find, I probably would of kept it myself, in a barn, far from my house. Maybe at my ex wifes or in-laws house.

Should have kept them. Those caps are not much more than firecrackers with a kick. When I was a kid, a friend of mine, whos father worked at the mine, had a bunch of those. He used to toss them in kegger bonfires and they would "pop."
