Hi,
Went to a private permission, lots of woods with a really good trace of General Braddocks Road circa 1755. I’ve found all sorts of stuff around from British coins to early 1900s silver.
So here’s my finds from Sunday.
I found what I believe to be a shoulder epaulettes / Scale at first but now am with the help of duggap on my Help me ID thread and then further research on my part maybe its part of a sword ? (See photo). I would love to be able to ID it. Early Braddocks road travelers were French, British soldiers, then later it was used by revolutionary was military and militia so I really don’t know who it was from just that it’s old and am 90% sure it’s a shoulder scale. Lol
