Boy, oh Boy! Is the Olde KingTotsalot happy or what!

Down through some 8 years of CRHing, KT had managed to recover a very few, less than 5, 1970S proofs, and of course all of them being taken out of circulation, even if one cycle, showed some minor markings from that experience. But today, showing up at the Castle mailbox, were both a pristine 1970S proof Ken and also a 1970D uncirculated Ken!

And KT bought them but paid nowhere near the estimated list price for even the 1970S proof! Who says eBay has no bargains?! Now these were purchased to be jewels in the Royal Collection Crown, not everyday workers at the Castle and even tho those everyday workers contain more silver, the condition of these 2 coins is exceptional. They will not go in a tube, but will be kept separate in the Royal Vault!

Hoser and partyofone, KT values your opinions and am happy to see yours align with His Majestys! KT searches long and hard, several times a day to try and find reasonable bargains and was stunned to be able to pick these coins up at less than half internet numismatic estimates. KT was the only bidder, perhaps because stock buyers are busy looking for junk 40% coins, but these have true collector value, not just silver value as mostly what KT buys for. KT is still about this purchase!

Thank you all very much, cellrdwellr, rreahard, and Bioheat1969! KT would have replied sooner but last Wednesday there was a CRACK and a blinding flash of light at the Royal Castle, and it popped a circuit protector on the AT&T side of the line, saving the house wiring but putting the internet and Castle phone off line until this afternoon when the Royal Repairman finally arrived and replaced the circuit protector with a new one! So now back in business again!
