All these were found with my Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX at the beach when I first started detecting. The Pioneer EX is so cheap it doesn't even have a earphone jack!

It did however pay for itself in clad and jewelry despite its lack of depth and generally sucking.

Guess I need to sell my Sovereign and waterproof a Bounty Hunter instead. :(

One reason they find good stuff is that most "serious elitist" beach hunters can't be bothered to hunt dry sand because they don't like trash. That's the ONLY place on the beach where the bounty hunters work well so that's where I used mine and found those rings, and where a lot of the beach Bounty Hunter guys find their stuff.

Also many people are casual hobbyists or just trying it out. We are addicted junkies..

The guys swinging Bounty Hunters at the beach have 100x better love lives than us guys swinging 1-2k+ machines!!

OMG we agree on both counts

Sounds like some hating. I hunt the same spots as guys with Etrac, At pros, mxt pros and 705's and do just fine with my BH quicksilver. I dont go to the beach but im sure in dry sand it will hold its own there as well. Found 3 bucks in change 1 wheat penny and a silver "call a priest" charm today. Everything over 4 inches deep and hitting soundly. I like how BH are always called "toys" yet quite a few use machines built by the same company. I stopped posting my finds cause i find everything with my BH as guys here with "Big Boy" toys and figured no one cared but seeing how BH are always getting bashed by the elite maybe i should start back posting finds. I think theres a youtube video of a guy getting rid of his water machine and water proofing a BH quicksilver said it was the best thing since slice bread. LOL i dont know why i even visit this site anymore.

I started the hobby with a BHer but it does not compare to my multi-frequency machine... I have seen silver posted but where were they found? Where is the gold? Lets see some deep gold down over a foot... I'm not after silver.. I want yellow metal

If the BHer could reach the deep gold our MF machines can get we wouldn't buy the expensive machines but they can't reach those depths needed to find the yellow...

Dew started this... I blame it all on him

Are you calling me a liar when i said that i find all the stuff that others find with "big boy" toys?:?:  it matters where i found it?? I just said that i find the same stuff. The only reason i said anything was because someone found it necessary to make a post insulting BH users(that is what the Op was doing, seems like you and him are on the same page).

he's talking about the wetsand. I've used ace 250, ace 350, Bounty hunter 505, whites MXT at the beach in the dry sand with no problem. Wet sand I bought a coil for the 350 that costed as much as the 350 and it petered out in the wetsand. Down this way you got to get to the beach about 3 am to hunt dry sand. I see BH 505's and Fisher f2's all the time. None stay in the wet sand for long. Inland a BH505 will probably spank an ATpro. I'll know tomorrow since my atpro will be here to see:lol:

I hit a couple of the local beaches today just to see how these recent swells and change of wind direction was affecting them. It was a bit of a cob but at least i could get in. As i started hunting i noticed there were 4 people hunting the dry sand .... all but one was using BHs. At the second even smaller beach... there were 3 hunters there all had BHs. Im seeing a pattern here..... looks like you guys need to trade in those expensive Xcals/CTX and CZs for something a little more reasonable. I mean 6 out of 7 hunters cant be wrong.

Still don't think you'll see a BH on "Diggers!"

probably won't see a Whites Dual Field PI ,Sovereign GT,CZ21 or a Sov XS2 or any other brand on that show either, whats your point. Oh i forgot this is a thread for bashing BH and thats it, welcome to the club.

Thanks Pijoe, i look in aww at this section all the time. Makes me wish i was still in florida or just by a beach anywhere. I seen the OP and seen a shot was being thrown at BH users for hunting dry sand:?::laughing: and figured its only right being a bh user that i speak up and not let the elitist do all the talking and insulting(even though i haven't said anything to insult anyone and only stated facts). Whos really taking it personal when a thread like this one is started. Read what the OPer said and it seems he felt the need to talk !!!! about guys swinging BH on dry sand...... i say just be glad they don't do so well in wet sand cause i'm sure they would do the same as they do on dry which is find the same stuff for cheaper.

Dew was being sarcastic... there was no bashing in his opening post... as to me I rarely hunt the dry stuff way too much trash for my liking so its all yours
