Wow.... that's pretty sad. Must of thought he had a bag of gold and coins or something. Now if he had the Nox it would of hog tied him to the ground and alerted the police automaticly

I live in Atlanta and there are some great sites located south of I-20 but the only problems you could only hunt in that area with a couple of sheriffs deputies as an escort. If you are not familiar with Atlanta think of south side Chicago. So if you ever come to hunt some civil war sites in that area, be very, very careful.

I've spent some time in Atlanta. On one trip I brought my wife. As we were walking a group of young men blocked our path on the sidewalk. I told her to start running if I gave her the heads up. As luck would have it there wasn't and issue. Maybe luck or my power lifting appearance. Of course I was much younger then

Years ago I read on one of the old privydigging sites about some bottlediggers who were attacked while digging. It was somewhere out East (Philly?) in an old Urban Renewal project. It didn't end too well AIRC.
