its a BH quickdrawII, you coming? maybe you can give me some pointers
im getting either, a Minelab Safari, or X-tera 705, or maybe a exploror and a 705, cant decide what why i want to go, either way, i will be ordering monday.

Well the quickdraw 2 isnt a bad machine at all. I would say its just going to take some gettin used to. If you dont like it you can always give it to me. I will definatly use it as a backup...;-p If money is not an object go with minelab if your wanting a display. If you dont care about the display get a high end Tesoro for depth and sensitivity (AND THE LIFETIME WARRANTY) lol

my issue with the BH is it seems i get alot of false signals on dry ground. get a good repeatable signal, dig and nothing there,

Well it could be lots of things. Mineralized soil, powerlines close, or maybe a bad coil? Did you try turning down the sensitivity on it and see if that helped?

I would say put it at 10-11 o clock position when your around red clay and see if that helps.

Yes I will be there I will have to leave around 4 or 5 in the morning because I have a 3 hour drive but I will be there.
