Back in the saddle

Hi all,
It's been months.... almost a year even since I last posted on the old forum. I had trouble getting my old username set up on the new forum but at last, I am back.
I finally got back into swinging that coil yesterday after a few months of inactivity and here's a pic of the keepers from the hunt.

4 Wheaties - 2x1953 D, 1954, 1956
A Catholic Pendant (brass)
A Zippo lighter from 1976... and get this... it actually works!!!!

Of, course it required a good cleaning, a new flint, wick and fluid. But now it works like it's brand new. Gotta hand it to Zippo for making such a great lighter!

First, welcome back JG. Good to have you back with us. Glad to see you were out and about, and congrats on the finds. Yup, I've only seen one Zippo that wouldn't work. They really built those lighters well.

Zippo lighters are garaunteed for life. Just mail it to them if something breaks, and they fix it and mail it back free of any charge... no questions asked. I've done it a few times myself.

Welcome back Johnny. Glad to see you are back in the swing of things with a few finds. There must be some silver where you found those wheats.
