Another vacation day spent metal detecting! Bunch of coins and a nice sterling silver St Christopher's medal. The small ring is also Sterling, though I found that on the mansion property Tuesday and misplaced it. I'd hoped the tiny St. Mary's medal was gold. But it's just a plated base metal.
My Nokta Legend has really been delivering for me.

You found yourself a pile of coins. Nice St. Chris too. What coil are you swinging? Settings? You're finding coins and jewelry, it's just a matter of time and you'll dig that treasure chest full of pirates bounty!

I'm using the small coil most of the time and standard park settings (though sometimes I switch to farm and use that if it doesn't get too chatty). I set tones to six, adjust for ground, and put sensitivity to around 20 to start. I have permission to hunt an old 150 acre farm, there I use the big coil.

Quite the haul for sure. Congrats on the sterling medal. I've used those pyramid sinkers before. They are a snag finding little rascal.:rofl2:

Mark, I have a Nokta Legend. I generally use standard park settings with tones set to six. Though sometimes I switch to farm and use that if it doesn't get too chatty. I use the small coil. I really only use the big coil when I'm actually walking farm fields.
