Coldplay, Clocks "targets waiting to be tamed"
What a way to come off a 9 hunt gold slump. 4 rings from 5 straight hours hunting in water over my head in mid winter.
Real calm sea but the light wind bringing the air temp down to just above freezing making the water seem warm, well kind of
Thought I'd snagged a fine gold chain while digging out a battery (chain turned out to be plated) and was on the next target when out came a 2.66g 18K/Pt900 combo, talk about stoked!!!
But then it got even better!!! Found another good low spot with the DF picking up a heap of faint targets, just glad to dig anything to keep warm.Dug a heap of those then yellow!!! A nice 1.67g 18K with bling and the very next target in the sidewall of the same hole another thin 0.98g 18K with an ultra small 0.01 bling!!!
Spent ages turning the small area in a moon scape then holy sheet!!! There in the scoop was another Yellow and Plat combo 3.24g of the stuff.
Even a hot coffee waiting for me on shore couldn't tempt me out, only got out of the water when there wasn't anything more to dig. Man what a hunt!!! didn't even feel the cold till I was back on dry land
The yellow and plat combo turned out to be 10K with Pt600 never found plat with a grade so low didn't even know if it was possible. Guess it's new age plat

That's an AWESOME hunt!! Thanks for letting us know it wasn't all yellow and plat for the prior 9 hunts.
