Four hours at the beach today with my buddy Dion ... Best of the day, a 9ct band and a Queen Victoria UK 1898 penny.

Some fine treasures buddy! Amazing on the rings we found, having the same date.

Brian found his dated ring in 2017, I found mine this past Friday, both found on the 29th of March!

Why is it that 9k is the common gold content in Australia?

In Australia, gold generally comes in two purities – 9ct and 18ct (or 9k and 18k if you’re outside of Australia).10ct & 14ct are not so common over here!

Also, I believe 9ct is the most popular in the UK too!
