One of the coolest things I have seen posted here! Does it really get any better than a personal item from the bronze age? I can't think of much excluding gold from that era.

Since I made my original post, the Razor been examined by archaeologists and recorded on our national data base for Finds made by the general public known as the Portable Antiquities Scheme...

Thanks and yes it is a bronze, although the archaeologists tend to refer to it as a "copper alloy" these days...
