I'm 19 and my parents I don't think know the magnitude of this coin. I think if I walked in the door with 2000$+ cash they'd understand lol. That can be college money once summer is over.

There are many years of seated and earlier dimes with lower mintages yet the 1916D gets a premium value. Probably because there are a lot more merc dime collectors out there
