My first ever gold. I've been detecting for about a year, I've found 11 rings, my 11th being this beautiful 14k white gold Frederick Goldman rounded step edge ring. The rush was like nothing else. I feel like an actual treasure hunter.

Is strangely light. Even though looks rusty is not steel. Is the size of a ring but looks non jewelry like. Suspect 1950’s era but anything’s possible

Here is another find from a historic farm area in upstate NY. It appears to be an old pewter ring ( quite heavy). The symbol is similar to a peace sign, and it may be that, but I am not so sure. There are no internal markings I can see and it is very worn. Any help is appreciated.
