Great scoop, Very cool in how they worked, with no welds........ Problem......Greg got in to deep with his regular job and did not want to get the business started unless he could give 100%, So it died. I still have my two, both finally gave out this year after 6 years, the last two years being used several days a week. The good is I can still get the skins and about 20 minutes to fix each. But like Ice said.. Diablo is Gone....For ever.....Flat Lined..........:digginahole:...RIP...

Its sad to see a scoop that had so much promise never make it to production and I have followed this scoop almost the entire time of its life. It happens that some time a person has a great idea and puts the prototype out for testing and then life takes over and the great idea dies. Only chance would be if he worked with someone else or sold the design/ idea to another person who could get it off the ground.

Friend of mine in the Netherlands revised his round scoopmodel last year to this model. They sell like hot cakes

I know Cupajos' Diablo is still going strong after many years and targets ( which he can tell you exactly how many of both ).

Also, my modified Diablo ( all welded ) is still going strong and the scoop I use 95% of the time. By far the best of all the scoops I've used in the water, bar none.

Frank  you dug this up from the grave , we as detectorist don't disturb the dead :yoda: at the grave yard , this line of scoops was in testing as long as I was a member over 6 year's, in my opinion, it's like a Indian burial site, DO NOT DISTURB :worms::realitycheck::spaman::shrug::my2cents::nothingtoadd:

Sorry to disappoint you Earl but it wasn't I who resurrected this post. If you look at post #31 you'll notice a newcomer asking the question.

BUT, I will say that I was happy and fortunate enough to have Cupajo ask Greg to let me do some testing along with him. All I can say is that it's unfortunate that this scoop never hit the market. Like Joe said , family comes first and Greg just doesn't have the time to pursue this venture.

I too hope this post isn't resurrected again because it's a dead horse.

I hope you can sleep better tonight Earl, knowing that.
