Bought another antique phono for my collection, a Standard Model "A" and something was knocking around loose inside the cabinet. Thinking a part came loose, I opened it up and the loose item was this masonic token. Evidently someone thought it'd be a good place to hide it. I looked it up on Token Cat, not rare but still a cool find, one that I didn't have to dig up.:D

Somebody 's 78 skipped! Probably those big victrola tone arms didn't need extra weight, though. Nice find!

Very Nice! Where did you get that from, an antique store?

This one I bought from an older friend that was going into a retirement home and was selling off some of his antiques. Also bought a few others including an Edison Standard Model "B" cylinder phono with horn, along with some 1920s radios. He never said anything about the penny so he probably never even knew about it.

Great token! And as you can tell by my avatar, I'm kind of into antique disc and cylinder phonographs also. :D I have too many according to the wife.
