Default 1786 House - Colonial to modern finds

I got to detect a house I've driven past a million times, a house built in 1786. I spent two days in the yard finding an incredible amount of stuff from Colonial to a 1946 Rosy.

The close-up house was built in 1786, the house in the back was built 1761. Amazing old houses!

great finds. I have done that also. not 1700's but some 1800's and just was too lazy to seek the owner and ask permission.

Very special finds. Congratulations. You're lucky. Oldest home sites around here only go back to about the 1840s.

That pile of dirt in the top middle photo looks like my last dig. Found a Schlitz can 5 feet down...it rang up sweet.
