Smile 1884 Large Cent and Other Old Finds!

Hey everyone!

There's an old home site close to where I live that was likely inhabited from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. I was incredibly lucky and found an 1880 silver quarter there about a week earlier so I had to go back!

Here's what I found!

I'm not totally sure what a few of the finds are so if you recognize them please let me know! I've been detecting for a little over a year now but I'm glad to still be digging these types of mystery items that I can learn about.

Nice old largie, congrats! Is that a badge mount at the bottom of the pic?

I love those old Canadian large cents. And whenever I see the glimpse of one in my hole, my mind immediately thinks I've found a USA large cent . But alas, have had to settle for several of their Canadian counterparts. Still a very pretty coin !

I think it's likely a spoon handle. Not entirely sure though!
