Found this in my front yard from a single hole. Some were a few inches deep and others maybe about 10 inches deep. About 45 coins...all Memorial pennies, it seems.
My theory is that someone dropped a roll a few decades ago then it got hit with a mower before it became covered in dirt. Probably not what really happened, but it's my theory for now.
Not sure if there are any key dates or anything.
