It was 98 degrees out today, but I had to brave the heat! I got to the park about 0715 & hunted for about 3 hours without much luck. Then they turned all the sprinklers on! I figured they'd be on about 15 minutes so I detected around them. But....they left them on all day! I got to a small shelter they use as a kitchen and 30 feet from that I got a iffy 23 - 28 signal which was quite large. My experience with these aren't good. But something told me to dig & I'm glad I did. It turned out to be my 1st silver spill! About 3" down I hit a 1956 Rosie, and re-checking the hole there was still a signal there. An inch deeper & up came a 1964-D Rosie. Checking the immediate area with my pin pointer, I got another signal about 10" away, and at 3" up came another 1964-D Rosie! The area they were in was previously under a large un-movable picnic table, that was now gone. Glad someone moved it! About 4:30 I'd had it with the heat & walked over to the river and got in. It was cold but so welcome! I only found $1.50 all day, and 3 wheat cents...1941, 1949, 1953-S I also tried out the new update for the Equinox at 4 MHZ, but I could see no difference in depth. It changed the numbers I'm used to seeing on coins however, & a pulltab reads the same as a dime on that frequency. Strange
