Went back over a older church I have detected in the past. It's fun to re-search areas with a new machine. This Equinox 800 hits nickels very consistently. Was hoping for a buffalo or war nickel. I don't think I've dug 10 nickels in such a short hunt. Oldest is a 1949. Also dug this really cool sterling pin. I'll take that over a Rosie or Merc any day! Thanks for looking.

A very nice outing Tyler. Your right the "Nox" does love Nickels. Congrats on the Thunderbird Sterling Pin a a nice clad haul. Trapper

Thanks Trapper. I love finding sterling pieces and rings just as much as silver coins.

Looks for sure to be turquoise. My Nox or maybe it’s my ears, likes dimes. Nickels too but so far dimes are outnumbering. Interesting times. Nice work Stiff!

All those nickels.. any one of them could have been gold instead..it's coming..nice thunderbird pin.. congrats

SW Great hunt and absolutely agree with you on the pin, very cool. Get used to nickels, the Equinox is a nickel magnet. Some don't care to dig nickels but me, I'll dig 12-13s all day long cause other goodies fall into that range as well. HH Mark
