# 27 is a 1927 Merc. She's pretty beat up but I'll take her. Thats 8 out of the last 9 silvers I've dug were Mercs. Not complaining, any day that ends with silver is a good day. Sat. I was headed over to a new permission, a 1926 corner lot, to my dismay they were cleaning the place out and had stuff everywhere. Not wanting to get in the way I decided to head up the street to the old 1890s house. After a long day, lasted about 9 hours, man was I beat. I did manage 17 more coins, and a cool token or medal of some sort.Got my first buff with a date, just barely but you can read it. Another IH with a wheatie in the same hole. That my third IH FTY and third and ever buff FTY. Another 5 wheats, a pair of 1919s's and a pair of 1920s and a 39. And the usual trash too. Lotta of rusty iron. That place just keeps giving. And after I help the owner do some more grubbing there will be more area to hit. Well no shiney that day but I was amazed I am still pulling coins out of there. I suspect theres still deep ones to be found.

Didn't get out SUN. Monday I was off so I headed back to the 1926 hoping they were done their cleanout. The dumpster truck was just hooking up when I got there. First signal rang up like silver, a religious medal, thought I had sterling # 7. Not, just plated. Dug a few wheaties, the oldest a pretty nice 29. and a bunch of memorials, a couple of nickles and two clad dimes, one a 65. Huh? Close. got a 12-43 by the front walk, thought I had a wheatie, on my machine 11- 12-43 is a wheatie, 12-44 is a memorial just about everytime. Anyway I pull out this crusty looking thing, wipe it off to see a little glimmer of silver. YES I'll take it. Also dug a chevy token, and my first lead toy, a pilot. If it were a girl I would call it Eileen. Ha ha. The heat started getting to me after a few hours so I headed home. The owners wife stopped by before I left, she said she thought someone else was through the yard about ten years ago. Huh? I guess he didn't get it all. The ground is drying up around here and digging is getting pretty tough. Probably won't go back there till we get a good heavy rain. Any ideas on the medal/token would be appreciated. thanks for lookin and HH to all. Mark

Nice hunt and congrats on more silver! There's a corner lot of a 1910 house I want to search but it's in a rough part of Aliquippa. Still debating on searching it or not.
